About Me

Hello! I'm Diego Espina, an Aggie Electronic Systems Engineer, aspiring cybersecurity professional, and lifelong computer nerd. After graduating from Texas A&M, I obtained a job working as an Electrical Engineer at a wind turbine company. However, I knew deep down that my passion had always lain in computers, especially cybersecurity. Throughout my journey to break into the cybersecurity industry, I have obtained multiple GIAC certifications thanks to my admission into the SANS Institute Cyber Academy, completed various rooms on TryHackMe, and tackled multiple challenges and machines on Hack The Box. My current goals are to finish this website while learning CSS, HTML, and JS along the way, as well as to start working on a web app I've been bouncing around in my head for a while. If you'd like to network (or even better, offer me a job), feel free to reach out to me at the links below.
  • BS in Electornic Systems Engineering Technology with a minor in Cybersecurity from Texas A&M University
  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
  • GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT)
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt

I am by no means a complete expert in every single one of these, but they are all things I have used to some degree in my educational, professional, or hobbyist careers, and I am comfortable using them.
